a native trapped in ice or, on one occasion, the Red Elk, but didn't want to risk the loyalty loss for a recruit that may or may not mesh well with the existing team composition. There are times that I encountered a rare, interesting, or unique team member- e.g. While I somewhat agree that a crew of 5 can be limiting, I feel that a greater issue is that you are dissuaded, through party-wide loyalty loss, from changing your members in the field. Plus I guess that Prince would fit more in circus then zoo. So, what's better - zoo or circus? If it be circus then you wouldn't need to redraw Paris picture, just put a sign somewhere, whereas if it were zoo, picture would require altering. Circus might pay you some money (extra money for next expedition) when you store them there and you could have them back to trek if you want. Imagine if you could bring them to to Paris and lend them to circus instead. Currently when you dismiss usual class you still can reconsider and hire it again, whereas dismissing Red Elk or Salamander Prince is irreversible. Add new place in Paris, zoo or circus to store rare companions that you encounter 0-1 times in game. Don't fear that it will make game less tense and creepy.Ģ. There are classes that you would want to take not for their combat abilities but for travelling assistance and overall feel-good atmosphere. If you have 6 members + Malin and hire someone else for a temporary brief moment they wouldn't fit to screen. Maybe you don't want or can't alter size of portraits on the left of the screen. Maybe you think it still would break game balance in non-combat dice checks. If you don't want to make combat easier, let player choose which member would stay off fight guarding baggage. I already spelled them in other topics but it was a little off topic, so maybe I'd start new themeġ.
